Bug fixes/feature additions to the Server List

Posted by GEN3RIC at 12:39 am on May 26, 2010

Today I made some long-overdue changes and bugfixes to the server list that resides on the left of the app.  As forum member fatal_enigma pointed out to us, the max players isn’t accurate to what the server actually is.  Perhaps this got past me due to sheer exhaustion of the hours I’ve put into development of new features thanks to DICE.

Regardless, that’s fixed now and while I was mucking around in there I decided to add some vital information in case you’ve got many servers connected and want to see just what is going on without having to fully open it up.  It updates every 10 seconds now (as opposed to 30) without any performance hit.  If you would like to see anything in particular in the “quick info” tooltip, just sound off in the comments and I’ll see what I can do to make it happen!

Every time I try to install BFBC2CC I get this error… I3D.BC2CC.WpfClient has stopped working.. FYI
    I run Win 7 64bit

  2. GEN3RIC says:

Install the latest .NET Framework and see if it still happens.

I have the exact same problem with Verd. (OS Win7 x64). I installed the latest .NET Framework, restarted my PC and still had the problem. I tried the repair option on the .NET Framework setup so I that I would be sure there were no installation issues and I still can’t run BFBC2CC.v1_2_1

Perhaps you guys didn’t see the directions, 1.2.1 is a hotfix that addresses the PB error that pops up for some people. To apply this hotfix, you must copy & paste all the files into your installation directory (overwriting the old ones). If you merely double click the exe, it will fail as you’ve mentioned.

    Try that, guys. :)

I just added the BC2CC 1.2.0 installer to the download section, run that one first and then replace the files with the hot-fix of 1.2.1. Sorry for the confusion, we are working hard to replace it all with a better way of installing it and pushing updates to you. :)
