What new features do you want to see?

We make this for you, so there’s nobody better than yourself to tell us what needs to be in this app. Maybe there are some other tools out there that have some features you really can’t live without, but you’d rather use BC2CC for whatever reasons. We encourage you to use whatever you need to get the job done, but please let us know if there is something we could be doing that we are not.
Leave your ideas in the comments below!

A timer or tick counter on the Player list tab to tell when the round is about to end. If I’m going to be an admin of a server I’d like to know how much time is left in the round at all times.
Also it would be nice to have a way to save a custom Map list to work along with the “Mixed Rush/Conquest” mode.
A timer isn’t possible as the rounds are ticket-based and not time based at all. Our next version includes ticket information for each team so you can see who is winning and how much longer it will be. I believe I detailed that in a recent post, check it out.
Saving custom map lists is a good idea we’ve wanted to implement, hopefully we can work that in shortly.
Multiple Admins on at a time able to edit server and changes effects of all other admin settings as well.
-Colour coding teamkills on the logging at the bottom, so it is easy to spot. Possibily add a way to tally those who are consistently making many teamkills on your server over a period of days?
-Adding a feature to allow warnings and then kicking for a player killing other players soon as they spawn over and over again
-Fixing the in game team swap command, it currently always says the other team is full when it is not, make it like using it from the program itself where it ignores team balance.
-One thing which would be freakin awesome would be map voting, but I guess you guys might need to use your upcoming daemon for this. Basically have a server message stating map voting has started and then the initials of maps, and players have to vote with chat messages like /!AH for arica harbor, then the hard part would be the server being able to tally these votes even when the admin tool is not connected (using the daemon somehow?) I don’t know but map voting is big in many other games, so it would be awesome to get it in this game.
-Add an option to manually adds bans via pb guid to the punkbuster ban list.
-Allow program to minimized to the tooltray, or w/e it is called in the bottom right of windows.
-Admin alert system? When an admin connects via the admin tool, have it announce “Admin Online – Type !Admin “reasonhere” to get their attention with a reason” the tool will show a pop up in the toolbox area in bottom right of screen.
That is the first few things I can think of, may be a lot but well I guess I can suggest lots and you can say what is do-able
.
-Fatality UK aka Fatal_enigma on your forums
.
@TrenchToast to implement something that will warn others that they made a change to the setting is a hard thing to do without a central point where the tool connects with.
@Fatality UK: Will look into the color coding. Isn’t that hard to implement.

In the next version there is a build in system in the server for team killers. The GUI will allow you to set it up the way you like. Don’t think it gives out warnings to people.
Swap issues are server related, has to do with teambalance on the server. Also something they worked on for the next release (dont pin me on this one
We are working on some options for the players to use chat to get some info/help. I think a way to warn a admin is a good idea.
1) Complete server settings
deamon for Windows and Linux.
2) Warning options, such as 3 of 3 warnings = Kick
3) Kill streak notifications
4) High ping kick with message
5) TK kick with message
6) In-game messages
7) Welcome message
9) Submitting Yell / say to individuals.
10) Admin alert system! When an admin connect via the admin tool, have it announce “Admin Online – Type: Admin” reasonable here “to get Their attention with a reason” the Tool class will show a pop up in the toolbox area in bottom right of screen + send a email to the admins.
11) More in-game commands. Set pass, change mode, warn player, slay player ect.
12) Match options: ‘Start match’ in-game command with Yell-message “Live – Go, Go, GO!!” or something
Perhaps this feature already exists but…hey, I’ve changed my mind. My first request is to have a section of this site devoted to screenshots of the current app along with a brief description of each feature. As a newcomer, it’s hard to figure out what exactly this thing can/cannot do without actually installing it.
My second feature request (and, as I said, this may already be included) is to be able to set min/max rank levels for the server. If someone joins with a rank outside the permitted range, a kick or ban command would automatically execute…they might be able to join briefly but it would prevent the all-too-common situation of players with a 30+ rank playing in noob servers.
Thanks!

In reference to the above, the feature already exists I believe, it is a setting in the server config and by default is -1 to allow anyone to join.
I have to disagree with this as a whole though, people cba to keep getting kicked from servers without knowing they are too high a rank, it should only show servers in the browser which you can enter due to your rank, and also, playing with higher ranked people will only make you better
.
@Fatality: Fair enough. However, I’ve played in a number of “noob” servers (just started with BC2 within the last few weeks) and it’s a pain in the butt when players with 30-40 rank are running around trying to level up their own scores in an “under 20 rank” server. In my opinion, it ruins the fun for new players and I want to be able to enforce this rule without constantly babysitting my server. I played in one server that automatically kicked/banned higher-ranked players with a message similar to “Server: PlayerX was banned for excessive rank”.
As for using the “vars.rankLimit” setting on the server, this setting does *not* actually prevent higher ranked players from joining the server. (EA’s own BFBC2 rcon documentation confirms this.) This sort of scenario is where an admin tool comes into play.
RE: “playing with higher ranked people will only make you better”….no doubt. I still want my server to be fair play environment. The whole “it’s for your own good” mentality doesn’t really win me over in this case.
@[aCe]Total, see the latest post on this blog. Welcome message is already in the current version. (Hidden in server settings)
@zonker, yeah we need to add a section with manuals for the program, but we are very busy, with work and with coding new cool function in the tool (and playing some games sometimes
). Looking for volunteers to create something.
editable list not allowed word’s.
editable count of warning for this words (3 warnigns = autokick for bad language, next warning = auto ban one round, next warning perm ban) …ofcourse all counts editable.
[sorry for bad english
...i hope You understand what i mean.

Hey, if you need some people to write a manual me and my clan would be interested in order to pay you back for making such a nice program, well actually we also need it so that when your daemon comes out and we had out admin to a lot more people, they will understand all the commands, but we can also make the guide explain the gui of the program also.
Hope we can get in contact about this. I don’t know much coding etc if you want a web page for it, but I know others who do.
Sent you an email Fatality UK.
I have an Acer Netbook and the screen size is only 10.1″ which makes BC2 Command Center a little too big for my small screen. If it’s possible, will this be fixed?

This is along the lines of TrenchToast idea.. we need a striped down version of the Command Center to give the IN-GAME ADMINS of our server the ability to kick, ban, unban, switch maps, yell, etc without the ability to edit things like Rules, server options, map list, auto admin and etc. All the abilities the In-Game Admin has and non that he does not have.
Maybe have the password and admin rights tie into the rights they are assigned when adding In-Game admins by the primary Command Center program. If this is making sence to you.
I know they can type in server commands in-game using /!y and stuff like that.. but not all admins want to actually be in the server or may be in another server and do not want to leave the one they are in and go to the other just to get rid of a hacker or problem person.
And I do not want to give everyone MY password to open the command center and take a chance of them messing up MY setting, rules, options or what-have-you.. intentionally or not.
@thc_positif Sorry for missing your question. I lowered the minimum height to 600 but the app was never designed to be used on netbooks. It will introduce vertical scrolling in most areas but in the next hotfix you should be able to at least see it.
@Wax, with our Daemon you will have login credentials. Even if they use the Command Center UI they will have to log into the daemon and with those credentials they will have access to only what you’ve granted. This should allow you to do this. It’s in testing now, we’ll announce the progress some time early in the new year.
anyway to mute a single player. some of these goof balls think its the chat channel would like to mute for a specified time so they dont get annoying
