2.1.1 Released, drag and drop players finally!

Posted by GEN3RIC at 11:04 am on October 18, 2010

Just finished the new drag and drop system so I decided there’s no point in waiting longer than necessary.  It’s a simple system that gives you some minor information in the drag visual, so you know whether or not it’s a valid drop target.  Applied to Player List and Map Options.

Restart BC2CC to apply the update.

    FIRST!

And what does ace do? There are 3 options and i filled them with random words that appear randomly.
Also, there is this kill streak thing. In some servers i see player’s name called out along with the streak yell. How do i enable that? I can only see kill streak and its increment.

Ace Player shows the player with the top score (which will receive the Ace Player pin at the end of round) at an interval you define.

The 3 phrases (as with all phrase textboxes) have variable support. Right click inside one to see what variables you can insert. {player} will enter the player’s name, {points} will display their points.

Check out the variables for use in Kill Streak also. Some phrase textboxes might have different variables available so check them all out. Here’s what I use:

Initial: {player} is on a {amount} kill rampage!
Increment: {player} is still going! {amount} kills
End Streak: {player}’s kill streak was ended by {killer} with {amount} kills

Kills to start streak: 5 (you’ll need 5 kills on a streak before it starts announcing it.. too few and its annoying)
Increment: 5 (this is up to you. After 5 kills, it starts displaying the kill streak. This particular increment means at 10, 15, 20 kills it’ll announce their streak).

    Hi guys.
After {kills} that was displaying, changed to {amount}, still display {kills} in message.
    Any solutions ?
