Release 2.2.2

Time for another update!  This is an important one, so don’t miss out on it.  The important thing to take away here is stability, a rewrite of the Players tab should resolve the issues and add some cool features you guys have been asking for.  Please read the changelog for more information.

  • Added the function Next Map Info on Round-End to AutoAdmin > Automation which summarizes round/map information at the round end
    • !round
      • Example return: Round 1/2 of Atacama Desert (Conquest)
    • !nextmap
      • Example return: Next Map: Laguna Presa (Conquest, 2 rounds)
  • Added some reconnection fixes that should keep the CC from failing to repair a bad connection that occurs randomly over time
  • Fixed a bug in Map Options that prevented you from switching the map to the first in the list
  • Fixed a bug in Map Options that showed the wrong image for Next Map
  • Kit Restrictions in Auto Admin modified so each class or weapon can have a number limit
  • Fixed issue in numeric textboxes with the “X” (clear value) button where using the clear value would destroy the databinding and it would no longer update the property.
    • Found in: Max Ping Allowed, Anti-Baserape Warnings, Idle Timeout
  • The Reserved Slots’ Import function was falling short with parsing some sorts of files. If you had return carriages it would add the player with them in the name, rendering the reserved slot useless.
  • Final Scores fixed (would send empty messages)
  • Fixed the “Round x/x” label appearing while a connection was in progress.
  • Completely rewrote the Players tab so information updates quicker and without losing focus of the selected player.
    • Added Death icon for when a player is not alive.
      • NOTE: starting the CC in the middle of a match means it will not know if a player is alive or dead until they spawn again. It may be confusing to see them getting kills with a death icon. There is no way around this given the current server protocol.
    • ContextMenu bug is gone thanks to this
    • Some common instabilities that were difficult to reproduce might be fixed by this
    • Changed the drag-drop style and fixed a few logical errors
    • Added some new columns, like Kill-Death Ratio, KillStreak. Kill-Death is color-coded so it’s easy to see who’s above 1:1 and who’s below.
  • Player Stats dialog has been improved. Mostly styling and formatting improvements, it’s now easiser to read the total time played, score, K/D Ratio (color-coded also).

    hey guys.. R25 Patch is not supported by your bc2cc means no new maps available with this tool..

    conquest/rush mode does not allow new maps to be added into rotation.

    Hey generic, you can test my server. shoot me an email :D
    As long as you won’t restart my server or make everyone disappear, you can use it. You know how hard its for me to get it full :(

    Your app is great, very easy to use but been using a different one cuz you never came up with a solution to those FC :(

    I don’t know if you have it already or not, but these plugins im correctly using with different software.

    1) Map protection (No baseraping/basecamping)
    2) logger (i have a server set up to log everything so i can ban later)
    3) map vote
    4) kill rate checker (so hackers are easily found when they reach certain kills. eg, 15 max kills per life or 50 per round)
    5) global banning system like aussiepunks. Whoever is blacklisted on their server is banned from our server
    6) ping kicker
    7) weapon limited (but i want class limiter. only 4 recon etc)
    8) Balancer (balance teh last guy joined)
    9) Punisher (!punish !forgive)
    There are more but thats one long list i want for Christmas :D

    Hi uzair! You’re a little out of date. Restart and get 2.2.3, it’s stable!

    1) Have it for conquest: Auto Admin > Automation
    2) We have logging, but we need to expand on this yes
    3) Have it in internal builds, a little buggy so it’ll be out “when it’s done”
    4) Interesting idea, will come up with something like this.
    5) You can stream PBBans or GGC in the PunkBuster > Streaming tab. Is that the same?
    6) Have it: Auto Admin > Automation
    7) Have it: Auto Admin > Kit Restrictions. Limit #s by class, or limit #s of each individual weapon/upgrade. 8) Working on a skill balancer that respects squads, clans, length on team
    9) Have something half-working.

    I’d say your Christmas wishlist is mostly doable.

    It’s total, but in the next update it will be per-team to avoid 1 team having all the snipers. :)

    Also is the weapon thing first come first serve or whoever spawns?

    I’d like it not to be first come first server because want other people to enjoy. would love if it wouldn’t let you spawn because of limit rather than slaying :(

    Whoever spawns first gets it. However as soon as they die it’s eligible to be used again. There is no possible way to prevent someone from spawning with the current rcon protocol. Slaying does not adversely affect their points or death count.

    Yes, i didn’t test it before commenting. Its good that they are dead as soon as spawned.
    Other thing i keep forgetting, how to fill squads automatically? ALways seeing newb not being in squad (don’t know how) too lazy or some hackers trying to avoid squads.

    I’ve been meaning to add a “encourage squad play” function that’ll handle lone wolf players.

    Also, I removed the reCAPTCHA function for registered users. Wasn’t supposed to be on for anybody but those who are registering.

    Hey Eric, know anything about people being kicked out of servver at once? My server has been very popular lately but suddenly last night, for 1 hour (didn’t stay up after that) people were suddenly kicked out of the server at once and it will just go empty! I restarted my server but no luck. COuld it be any procon utility i was using?

    Should also put a spam thing so you can yell/say stuff you want to say.

    I’ve heard reports of this server release crashing occasionally. That’ll empty it out.

    Spam thing? Well you can use the Rules auto admin feature. It tells them on spawn and you can send rules with /!rules playername or you can tell them to query the server themselves with !rules

    Or, you can use Punkbuster Tasks. There’s an interface designed specifically for this in the PB tab.

    something that send a message to all players after certain time. It can be random stuff that can be used as yell or say without the need to press !rules.

    And today my server crashed, reset everything. Pretty sad. I am gonna look for new host i think, don’t want it to be 4th time changing machine. I would’ve used my computer but EA doesn’t let us :(

    where do i check the screenshot i took from the program? i went to that make pb screenshots viewable but it doesn’t work :(
