Map Pack 7 Support
Some of you pointed out that your new maps weren’t appearing in your Available Maps list. The issue there has been solved and [with this update] the next time you connect to a server it’ll fetch the new list.
SPECACT Support
Remember SPECACT? Many moons ago DICE promised special models for a small fee, it came for consoles but the PC crowd has been left out. It finally arrived, and very quietly, I may add. You can purchase it here for $5.50, and personally if you’re into playing as medic, it might aid you in keeping from being spotted with that bright red beret. It is now supported in BC2CC.
Changelog
- Removed Squad columns from SQRUSH/SQDM DataTemplates
- Re-arranged AutoAdmin > Automation tab so it isn’t such a cluster
- Fixed issue with map list utilities preventing it from fetching new maps from XML (still no images for these maps)
- Fixed issues with Notify On Kick and added Notify on Banned function; added generic listeners for this.
- Added SPECACT weapons (images are temporary)

- Restart BC2CC :)

The only way I can see the new maps is after update 2.2.3 is in Mixed mode (under avail maps) then i add them to play list on the right.. It wont SAVE list to the server. I check the /maplist on the game server and its blank..
They None of the new maps show up in Rush,conquest,SQD,SDQRush..
So whats up with that.. I even restarted the game server too. Restart Comand center.. Same thing.. Any info on this problem would be greatly apprecaited..My guys been on me get play the new maps on our server…

Go into %appdata%\BFBC2CC\Cache and delete mapsdata.xml. Reconnect and it’ll populate a new one. If you still don’t have those maps, open that xml file and scroll to the end. It should have the new maps in there, if it doesn’t, let me know. If they are in the xml but you don’t see them in your server, connect to your server in BC2CC and go to the CONSOLE tab at the bottom. Type the command admin.supportedMaps CONQUEST (it should include the new maps). If you don’t see them there, you need to contact your RSP (support ticket I suppose) and tell them the new maps are not enabled on the server.
If they are in the xml but you don’t see them in your server, connect to your server in BC2CC and go to the CONSOLE tab at the bottom. Type the command admin.supportedMaps CONQUEST
Ok went deleted old XML. reconnected. checked back on Xml file. They are listed in it now. BUT! still don’t show up
i,only in Mixed map mode. Still wont let me save them out.. AT the very bottom is says MixedmodeMixmode conquest

Then when I did the Admin command it didnt lsit any of the new maps for Conquest or Rush

Hi MerC55, (Benz fan?) this indicates that your server is not properly configured to include MP7. You can see them in Mixed mode, which seems to be a bug, but you cannot switch to the map if you save it. Put in a support ticket with your RSP and let them know your situation, they can fix it for you in a matter of minutes.

I am thinking of switching my server. Currently with GS and i just get too many crashes.
I was thinking of dedicated server. I see i3D sells dedicated for 50~euro. Is that good enough to run couple of BC2/vietnam server? Or more possible?
If i run bc2, is the dedicated server limited to black ops and MOH, thats it?
Also did you get early access into vietnam to get your app ready for it?
Hey Uzair, I am not associated with the sales of i3D at all so I’d be unable to answer your questions. They are mainly a european provider but they do have a few locations in the US. You can ask on the i3d Forum for answers to those questions.
We will have a Vietnam-ready version ready by the 18th for the pre-orderers.
Any updates on a release for Vietnam? We installed the mod tonight, but I can’t change any maps in the Vietnam mod. Just wanted to check. Thanks for providing an AWESOME product!
Can you tell me more about punk buster streaming? I clicked configure and it was blanked an after it said configure again. Went to pb site to check if its streaming, nope.
So do i just click configure streaming, thats it? and the site should tell if it is or not?
