Summary

The Command Center uses the latest in Microsoft .NET technologies to provide the next level of experience not matched by other available administration tools. Currently using .NET 4.0, the Command Center utilizes custom HLSL-based pixel shaders to improve performance. These shader instructions are executed on your system’s GPU to ensure no precious CPU cycles are wasted. For those running the command center while concurrently running Bad Company 2, the application will become aware that a GPU-intensive application is currently running. By default, .NET will render these shaders in software, at no perceptible performance loss by most users. However, due to the amount of things occurring for some lower-end machines, it was apparent to some users of BC2CC. To fix this, all animations and shader instructions are disabled and replaced with low-quality effects to ensure you suffer no performance loss.

In-Game Commands

The command center implements a verbose in-game administration system that lets admins execute and manage aspects of the server from within the game. Several benefactors of this system are that certain admins can be assigned varying permissions. When entering a command that relies on a player name, you only need to remember the first few unique letters of their name.

Do not include the player’s clan tag when referencing their name. Some players integrate a clan tag into their name which can be confusing at first glance.
